Terms of Service

By registering an account or using any hookin.id feature, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• Service means the hookin.id web application and its script, carousel, voiceover, listing optimizer, link shortener, and other features available through the hookin.id domain.
• User means the person who creates an account or accesses the Service.
• We / hookin.id means the operator of hookin.id, the independent founder running the service from Jakarta.
• Credits means the prepaid balance used to pay for voiceover generation through the pooled ElevenLabs key.

• Users must register with a working email and a password of at least 12 characters.
• Users must verify their email before they can use paid features.
• One account per individual. Account sharing is not allowed.
• Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.
• Users must be 18 or older.

hookin.id offers three main forms of access:

• Free: limited monthly quota for scripts and carousels, with a watermark.
• Subscription (Seller, Creator, Pro): larger quota, watermark-free features, and extra services. Pricing is in IDR per month and shown in the pricing section on the home page (/#harga).
• Credits: prepaid IDR balance for voiceovers through the pooled key. Purchased credits stay valid until used, with no expiry.

BYOK (bring your own key) for ElevenLabs is available free with no markup. BYOK users are billed by ElevenLabs directly, outside hookin.id.

• All payments are processed through Midtrans. Supported methods include BCA VA, GoPay, OVO, Dana, and credit card.
• Transaction currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
• Tax invoices can be issued on request, to the extent relevant for a sole operator with a personal NPWP. hookin.id is not yet a registered PKP (VAT-registered business), so no VAT is collected.
• hookin.id may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.

• Subscriptions: cancel anytime, access stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Pro-rata refunds are not automatic but can be requested via email for special cases (e.g. long-running technical issues we couldn't resolve).
• Unused credits: refundable within 14 days of purchase, as long as no voice generation has been executed against them.
• Used credits (partial or full): not refundable, because the third-party cost (ElevenLabs) has already been incurred.
• Refund requests go via email with the subject [REFUND], and we respond within 5 business days.

Users agree not to use the Service for:

• Content illegal under Indonesian law (adult content outside legitimate platforms, hate speech, defamation, fraud, etc.).
• Content that infringes others' copyright without permission.
• Spam, automated scraping of other platforms, or actions that could be considered violations of a third-party platform's Terms of Service (e.g. TikTok).
• Reverse engineering, decompilation, or exploitation of Service security holes.
• Abusing quotas by sharing accounts, using automation to multiply quotas, or creating multiple accounts to dodge free-plan limits.
• Making false claims about affiliation with hookin.id.

Violations may result in account suspension without refund.

• Content you generate with the Service is yours. You are free to use it commercially or non-commercially.
• hookin.id owns the platform, source code, design, prompt models, and carousel templates. You are not granted the right to redistribute or resell these platform assets.
• hookin.id may use inputs and outputs (in anonymous, aggregate form) for internal quality evaluation and prompt improvement. If you object, let us know via email and we will exclude your account from the evaluation set.

The Service is provided "as is". hookin.id does its best to keep it available and high quality, but does not guarantee:

• That LLM output (scripts, listings, captions) will be accurate, viral, or fit for a specific purpose. Users must review and adjust output before publication.
• That the Service will be free from interruption or errors.
• That third-party platform policies (TikTok, ElevenLabs, Anthropic) won't change in ways that affect the Service.

For damages arising from use of the Service, hookin.id's maximum liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 30 days before the event, or Rp 500,000 (about $30), whichever is lower.

• Users may delete their account anytime from the Settings page, or by email to halo@hookin.id.
• hookin.id may suspend or terminate accounts for violating the terms, with prior notice except for serious violations or threats to system security.
• Termination does not erase payment obligations already due.

hookin.id may add, change, or discontinue features over time. For material changes that reduce the value of an active subscription, we will give at least 30 days' notice before they take effect, and users may request a pro-rata refund via email under the procedure in §6.

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the law of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from or related to the Service will be resolved first by good-faith discussion. If that fails, disputes go to the Central Jakarta District Court.

hookin.id may update these terms. Material changes are notified to registered users by email at least 30 days before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the effective date, you accept the updated terms.
